Signifikant Aftermarket Platform
What happened in 2021?

In this second year of the pandemic, the Aftermarket has transformed to become an online business faster than ever before. New initiatives to sell services and parts directly to the end user and to empower them to repair and maintain their equipment themselves do not only increase the aftermarket business, but also contribute to a more sustainable world. We at Signifikant participate in the ReCiPSS European research project and actively support our customers to adopt circular business models. It has been a tough year for the Signifikant development team to deliver on all these new initiatives. But we succeeded! Here are three of the top improvements to the Signifikant Aftermarket Business Platform of 2021.

Installed base / asset management

Login to the Signifikant platform and find a list of your machines.

Read documentation or order spare parts without getting your hands dirty looking for a serial number sticker. Upload service reports after maintenance and your machine information will always be up to date. Read here how extending the lifetime your products will benefit us all: A Longer Lifetime for Products: Benefits for Consumers and Companies.

ONLINE PAYMENTS

Get paid directly from your end-users for their online parts purchases. Send your field service engineers to customers and collect the fee directly after the job. The Signifikant Aftermarket Business Platform now integrates with Adyen and Stripe so that you can offer any payment option that fits your customers.

Augmented reality

Signifikant Platform integrates with PTC’s Vuforia for augmented reality. Even users with two left hands can now order parts and repair their machine with the help of a mobile phone. Read here how 77% of EU citizens would rather repair their devices than replace them: Making durable, reparable goods for consumers and tackling planned obsolescence.
